Monday Mike went for x-rays on his neck and then went to the doctor for a consult and to review the results from the x-rays.  The x-rays came back showing no breaks/fractures.  The doctor cleared Mike to race this weekend.  The dizziness from the slight concussion has gone away and he went back to work today.
The crew has been busy in the shop getting a new car ready to go for this weekend.

Frist off...THANK YOU too all those who have called, stopped by, helped at the track, sent well wishes and sent text!  It is amazing how the racing family pulls together to help another.
Mike took a pretty bad tumble during his heat race Saturday night at Fremont Speedway.  When he got out of the car he was pretty winded and hurting but he felt he was ok.  We walked back to the trailer and while he was changing out of his suit it was apparent that there might be something wrong.  For precautionary purposes, he was transferred to the Fremont hospital.   A CT was done and that came back clear!  There is some swelling in the neck area, so we will be going back on Monday for x-rays and will be seeing a doctor on Tuesday.  As of right now, however, all seems to be ok!!
